About the Author
Joan Burge is North America’s foremost administrative expert, trainer, consultant and motivational speaker. She is the founder and CEO of Office Dynamics, Ltd., an international leader in the development and presentation of sophisticated training programs and information for administrative office professionals. Joan has more than 30 years of experience in the administrative field, training, speaking entrepreneurship, and innovation. Joan has provided guidance, continuity of purpose, and mentoring to administrative professionals and their managers. Her programs have resulted in significant productivity increases to her clients including Caterpillar Inc., Humana Inc., The Boeing Co., The Schwan Food Company, Churchill Downs, Nokia, US Airways, Intel, Rockwell Collins, The Marriott Corporation, and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
Joan is the author of 3 books, 12 workbooks, is the editor of Monday Motivators, and has been published in more than 54 trade journals. Joan is also featured with television star, Jennifer O’Neill, in a book called Remarkable Women and a contributing author in Real World Communication Strategies That Work. She is a member of the American Society for Training & Development, the National Speakers Association, the Southern Nevada Human Resource Association, National Association of Female Executives, and the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to launching Office Dynamics, Ltd., Joan worked as an administrative professional for 20 years in 12 different companies in 5 states. During that time, she applied her skills in small offices and magnificent Fortune 500 companies. Having worked in some of the best and worst environments to be found anywhere, she mastered not only thriving in the field but had been an Inner Circle Assistant to company CEOs. |
